• Live in your own home – You must be living in a private residence, apartment, or assisted living facility.

• Apply for the program – Speak with your current Home Care Case Coordinator or call the Intake Line at (204) 788-8330.

• Need help with the paperwork?
  We’re here to guide you! OneCare can help you complete the application form at no extra cost.

• Your eligibility will be assessed – A coordinator will determine how many hours of care you’re eligible to receive.

• Open a bank account – This account will be used to manage the government funding for your care.

• Receive your funding – Payments are subject to audit, so be sure to keep invoices. OneCare provides detailed documentation for your convenience.

• Health region services continue – You will still receive nursing care, therapy services, and necessary medical supplies (like gloves, pads, etc.) from your Regional Health Authority (RHA).

• We simplify everything – From payroll and staff scheduling to WCB and source deductions, we manage it all.

• We are your back-up plan – Unlike public home care, which requires a family back-up plan, OneCare is fully equipped to handle emergencies.

• 24/7 On-Call Support – Our care team is always available in case of schedule changes, emergencies, or concerns.

• Reliability through technology – If a caregiver misses a shift, we’re instantly alerted and respond quickly.
